Glance

Hear how I would
read this to you with my
soul and passion,
sadness and solemn.
Breaking here,
Breaking there...
Breaking down.
Before the final break,
I fear the end is near.

See me… inside?
Shooting from one
organ to another,
stabbing through.
Causing first, passion
then sadness and solemn.
Broken down,
broken through, to
the very end of
where I need to be
but yet, could never
see, the hearing you.

DeeMer, such melancholy, yet biting imagery. I love the poem, although it makes me feel very sad. I agree with Lorena on the closing lines. Brilliant!

It is kind of nice to have missed reading your stuff for a while and get to read a bunch of it at once, all new and special. The different thoughts or topics in your mind mix together like some strange rainbow. Still beautiful.
Rock on!
